Details: The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of processes and clerical duties associated with the maintenance of mortgage insurance. The Mortgage Insurance Specialist I will be responsible for performing various tasks relating to managing the relationship with our mortgage insurance vendors, used by Loan Servicing Departments. Responsible for mortgage insurance account management including but not limited to: Mortgage insurance disbursements Processing mortgage insurance exceptions Mortgage insurance data reconciliations Processing mortgage insurance inquiries and escalations Following department procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance Provide internal and external customer solutions and seamless delivery of service Required to solve problems and investigate/resolve a wide variety of issues and requests that include: Obtaining loan level data from various internal systems Setting expectations and working with other supporting organizations to fulfill the request Successfully navigating the organization to resolve customer requests in a timely manner with error free quality Routes, maintains and tracks outstanding servicing requests and provides thorough follow up Utilizes expertise to drive results within the established framework of defined processes to resolve complex requests. Understanding the end-to-end servicing process for mortgage insurance. Ability to interact on a professional manner with internal and external customers and external vendors, in both verbal and written communications as well as clients to further enhance client delight. Customer focused and a team player, communicate candidly, able to improve processes, drive for results and take ownership to enhance client delight. Accurate processing and data integrity on a daily basis. Ability to work autonomously on routine tasks after training has occurred and takes advantage of growth opportunities.
