Training Specialist

Details: Essential Function Develops and supports a wide range of training and development activities aligned with the strategic initiatives, culture and organizational initiatives of TCU. Ensures training materials are current and updated and accurate processes, procedures and workflows are available to support team members and provide training resources through various delivery channels with efficiency and service excellence. Primary Responsibilities & Duties Responsible for developing training content using thorough needs analysis, instructional design standards, adult learning theory and knowledge of the target audience. Collaborate with other departments to support organizational initiatives designing and delivering effective resources, communications and training. Provide analysis and metrics on the effectiveness of new implementations and change communication of products and services, tools and processes. Responsible for proper research, development, and implementation for all new and existing procedures, ensuring all procedures are properly reviewed and tested prior to implementation and meet compliance requirements. Responsible for the structure and maintenance of all Training Resource Libraries to create platforms that contain accurate information and ease of navigation. Will provide analysis and metrics of the effectiveness of resources. Will support the administrator of the Learning Management System. Will assist with Instructor Led skills based training courses. Assumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union. * May require travel and ability to work varied hours . Specific Skills Complex problem solving skills to identify problems and review related information to develop, implement and evaluate solutions. Clear verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills Ability to define and direct coordinated processes to provide high quality performance solutions Understanding of the Credit Union objectives and strategies Broad knowledge of internal Credit Union Operations for both front and back office applications. Knowledge of Adult Learning Theories, Training function and performance support infrastructure Accountability Efficient and effective delivery channels for supporting team members Effectively maintaining resources and collaborating with other HR team members Effective design and delivery of training Accountable for understanding and applying TCU policies and procedures relating to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA/AML, CIP and OFAC). Accountable for the overall process analysis and documentation operations Must ensure requests for support are resolved in a timely fashion, documented and evaluated. Be a liaison between CU operations team and member facing team members Accountable for Performance Management Goals as agreed upon with Supervisor.
