Mortgage Operations Manager, VP

Details: This position is responsible for the oversight of the loan officer assistants, processing and underwriting departments ensuring all deadlines are met in a timely manner. Coordinates daily, weekly and monthly pipeline management between all three of these departments ensuring all KPI (Key Performance Indicators) and service level expectations are met. Position must have experience with and knowledge of all mortgage and investor loan types and documents. Position requires the ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment while assuring quality of files per HUD, VA, MHDC, and investor’s guidelines. Position requires face-to-face, phone and electronic mail interaction with various employees, customers and investor sources. The incumbent must be able to communicate with these individuals with courtesy and respect, maintaining a positive business relationship for the bank. A strong individual work ethic is necessary as well as the ability manage and motivate people effectively is essential. A positive resourceful attitude will be expected when dealing with both customers and fellow team members. Position demonstrates knowledge of the Industry in terms of laws and regulations relative to the job responsibilities. Oversees day to day pipeline management and work flow of the LOA, processing and underwriting functions which include managing staffing capacity levels based on volume requirements. Communicates proactively to ensure all departments are aware of daily goals and production expectations Drives internal and external customer experience thru stringent management of Key Performance Indicators Position works closely with the sales team, post closing and corporate support functions (HR, Accounting, IT etc.) Responsible for notifying processing, underwriting and closing staffs regarding Investor changes that occur at funding to insure future mistakes are limited. Must proactively partner with various department managers as needed for the purpose of facilitating corporate objectives.
